Most striking overcoat

The navy is deep, the double row of metal buttons catches the light nicely and the epaulettes give it a bit of old military character without going over the top. It comes down past my knee so my suit trousers stay protected in the rain. Wore it to a remembrance service and an old veteran told me it looked proper. That meant a lot.

Reminds me of grandad

Only coat I packed

Kept me warm on long evening walks, looked smart at a nice restaurant and shrugged off a couple of rain showers without soaking through. The collar turned up blocks the wind properly. Only downside of a long coat is folding it into luggage, but it came out with barely any creases. Very happy with it.
