Six months in, Looks great
After six months of regular wear the cognac has developed a beautiful burnished quality on the flex areas. This is exactly what real leather is supposed to do over time and it looks even better now than when I first received it.
Asked if it was a European luxury brand
Someone at a party asked if my cognac blazer was from a European luxury brand. When I mentioned the actual brand and price they asked me to repeat it because they did not believe me the first time. Real lambskin just has a quality and presence that registers even from a distance. The cognac colour adds warmth and distinction that elevates any outfit it touches.
Works across every dress code
The two-button notch lapel cut gives the cognac colour a classic framing that makes it wearable across multiple dress codes. Smart business setting, creative industry event, casual smart weekend. I have worn it to all three and it worked every time.
Occasional conditioning keeps it rich
Cognac leather benefits from occasional conditioning to maintain its richness. A leather conditioner every couple of months keeps it looking its best. Minor maintenance note only.
Best gift to myself this year
Bought this as a gift to myself and have no regrets whatsoever. Cognac lambskin at this price is an incredible buy and the notch lapel blazer fit is accurate to the size guide measurements.
Love the color
The shade is quite unique and it looks incredibly rich in person. The lambskin leather is super soft and the classic blazer cut gives it a really sharp look that's easy to style with my outfits..
Most photographed outfit I own
Cognac brown lambskin blazer over a plain cream shirt and chinos is the combination I have been photographed in more than any other outfit. The warm tone of the leather reads beautifully in photos and the natural drape of the lambskin means it looks expensive without any effort. Inside pockets handle all daily carry without creating visible bulk. This blazer earns its keep.
Sleeves may run long for shorter men
Sleeve length may run long for shorter men. I am 5'9 and it is fine. For 5'7 and under it might be worth checking.
Twice a week, never fails
I wear this at least twice a week. Cognac brown lambskin with dark jeans and a white shirt is a combination that never fails to look pulled together. Effortless.
Feels like a proper investment
Real lambskin is unmistakably real the moment you touch it. Cognac colour and the soft natural weight of the leather together make this a proper investment wardrobe piece.
Accurate tailoring, no pulling at buttons
The two-button closure holds the cognac blazer in a clean line when fastened. The lambskin does not pull or bunch around the buttons which indicates accurate tailoring in the chest. The notch lapel lies flat across the collar without needing to be straightened. Really well constructed for the price.
Looked perfect in natural daylight
Wore to a formal outdoor lunch. Cognac lambskin looked perfect in natural daylight. Multiple compliments throughout the day.
More pairing thought needed
Cognac brown is a colour that requires slightly more careful outfit pairing than a neutral dark brown or black. I had to think more deliberately about what shirts work underneath. Once I found the combinations I like it looks exceptional but it has more of a learning curve than darker tones. Lambskin quality is excellent throughout.
Three months, leather improving every week
Three months in and the cognac lambskin shows no fading and no wear at the surface. The leather is developing a subtle burnished quality in the highest-flex areas which looks better every week. Real leather quality at this price is genuinely hard to find elsewhere.
Even better than my dark brown
Already own dark brown. Cognac is even better.
Lapel proportion perfect
The notch lapel proportion is perfect for the cognac colour. Not too wide, not narrow. It frames the chest without overwhelming the blazer. Clean and accurate tailoring.
Came back for cognac
I bought the dark brown lambskin blazer from this brand first and loved it enough to come back for the cognac. The cognac is a warmer and more distinctive tone that I now find myself reaching for more often on occasions where I want the blazer to contribute to the look rather than just complement it. Same quality lambskin, same accurate fit, same clean notch lapel. A purchase I am very glad I made.
Lining colour doesn't match leather exactly
The inside lining colour does not closely match the cognac leather. Visible when unbuttoned. Minor aesthetic note only and does not affect comfort or quality in any way.
Cognac and navy is a winner
Cognac brown with a dark navy shirt is one of my favourite outfit combinations. The lambskin blazer makes the whole thing look styled and intentional without much effort. Notch lapel frames the combination perfectly.
Working well
Cognac tone ages beautifully. Every wear adds a slight patina to it.
