I live somewhere properly cold from December to March, and I wanted a coat I could trust. This is thick enough that I wear one jumper under it and I'm fine at minus a few degrees. The wax finish dries off quickly if I get caught in sleet, I just hang it near, not on, a radiator. After two months the leather has softened at the elbows but the shape hasn't moved.
Creased in the box

Lovely coat but it arrived with some creases from being folded in the box, particularly on the lower half. I hung it up for a couple of days and most dropped out. Still a bit of a crease line at the hem. Not a big deal for me, the leather is gorgeous, but worth knowing.

Great coat but I'd say it runs a bit snug across the upper back, I felt it when I reached forward in the car. I have broad shoulders so that's probably me. Everything else is excellent, the stitching is neat and the wax finish looks great with jeans. Consider sizing up if you're broad.
