The hood is nice and while not quite oversized is big enough that it covers my head and doesn't fall off. It is completely fur-lined, which is perfect and it looks really luxurious. I hate being cold so I looked for either a fur lined (faux) jacket. I'm 5'7" so there aren't a lot of options out there. This jacket is perfect! It's like the fur of a teddy bear inside. I would normally wear a medium but am glad I ordered the large because I think layers would get tight with the medium. The good is a nice feature. It came nicely packaged with a hanger. It's pretty heavy as jackets go but that doesn't bother me. I thought the price was great as well considering a good, warm, full length jacket would be at least $250 on average.
