I love the look of the finish on the leather, but it's not black & not really brown either, it's a little on the reddish/burgundyish side color but just a little bit, the photo is pretty accurate colorwise. The weight is lighter than I expected but the zippers are pretty heavy duty, still appropriate for riding a motorcycle, definitely not as thick as the leather would be on a proper motorcycle jacket but for 90 or so bucks it exceeded all my expectations. I am 6' 195lbs 44 chest 34 waist & it is a perfect fit for me.
