Comfortable lining
I tried it first with the jeans I wear most. The soft lining is nice over cotton and flannel. This one feels right for me.
Pockets for a walk
I left it on for a while after sitting down at a restaurant. The side pockets sit comfortably for a quick walk outside. For me, that makes more difference than extra decoration.
Soft suede texture
I wore it out for lunch rather than saving it for an occasion. It felt like a sensible choice for somewhere casual but still nice. The faux suede has a soft texture that works with my older shirts. This works with both the tan and black boots I own. I like this shade with faded denim and a cream tee.
With dark blue jeans
I tried it with a completely different pair of pants the next morning. I'm always glad when one purchase makes several older things useful again. The texture looks good against dark blue denim. I do wish there were a little more space for bulky sweatshirts. I like the look enough to keep wearing it.
Open front fit
I tried it over two different shirts to see what actually works. The waist sits comfortably when I leave the front open. The whole outfit worked without me changing anything else.
A tidy front
The color was a big part of why I clicked on this jacket. The zipper keeps the front looking tidy without much effort. I didn't feel like I was wearing a costume.
Back seam detail
I tried wearing it open for a change. The seams in the back keep it from feeling completely plain. I was pleasantly surprised by that.
Side pockets
A friend noticed the jacket even though I was wearing my usual basic outfit. I like that it can be interesting without drawing attention all day. The side pockets are right where I expect them to be. The light brown gives my older shirts a different look. I'd rather have this than another piece I rarely wear.
Comfort at the neck
I wore it yesterday with a plain white shirt. The collar sits close without rubbing at my neck. I'd call that a pretty good result.
Not too heavy
I wore it with a shirt from last year. The shape feels lighter than my usual winter jackets. I'd call that a pretty good result.
Crewneck and zip front
I was interested in the cut more than anything. The zip front works with a plain crewneck underneath. I can see myself using that often.
Soft against the neck
I needed to get out the door quickly and threw this over my usual clothes. The fabric feels comfortable against the back of my neck. The fabric picks up a little lint from my darker shirts.
Easy to slip off
I wore it with a shirt from last year. The lining makes it easy to slip off indoors. I can see myself using that often.
Sleeves with a sweater
I liked it more after the second try. The sleeves don't feel bulky over a thin sweater. Glad I didn't talk myself out of it.
No shiny finish
I picked this one mostly because I wanted a different fabric in my wardrobe. The material has a matte look that isn't too shiny. It's an easy choice when I don't want to plan.
Comfortable cuffs
I saw myself in a photo outside and noticed the jacket looked different in daylight. The cuffs sit well over a long sleeve shirt. I can see myself wearing it again next weekend.
A color that works
I bought it for days between the seasons. The color has enough character without needing patches or prints. I'd call that a pretty good result.
Light enough to carry
The part I keep looking at isn't even the main feature. The light weight means I don't mind carrying it once indoors. In everyday use, I would have liked the waist to sit a fraction lower.
Front seam detail
I put it on while getting ready for lunch. The vertical seam details make the front more interesting. The whole thing felt easy to wear.
The phone pocket
Changed out of work clothes but kept the jacket for dinner. The inside phone pocket is a small detail I genuinely use. I'm particular about comfort, so I noticed that immediately.
