No pulling at the seams

Broad across the back and I usually get pulling at the shoulder seam when I reach forward. Not with this one. There is enough room cut into the back that it moves with you. Buttoned up it still looks shaped rather than tent like.

Good suit for the price. If you fasten both buttons it pulls a little at the waist, so I only ever do the top one. That is how you are meant to wear it anyway but worth knowing.

Pockets are useful

The two flap pockets are deep enough for gloves, which matters at this time of year, and the two inside the jacket take a phone and a wallet without the front going out of shape. The trouser pockets front and back are all properly sewn rather than the token things you get on cheaper suits. Sounds dull but it is the difference between wearing something and fighting it.
Good for evenings out

Ridge in the chest pocket

Worth saying plainly so nobody is disappointed. This is a cold weather suit. From about October through to March it is perfect and I have worn nothing else to anything formal in that window. In June it would be unbearable. Buy it for what it is and you will be very happy with it. Mine has been out a dozen times already this season.
Warmer than a wool one

Recieved it folded in tissue inside a garment bag, inside a proper box. Two fold marks across the back that dropped out overnight. For a textured fabric that is a relief, because pressed creases in corduroy are not easy to shift once they are set.
Warm without a coat

I have not worn an overcoat once since I got this, and I am usually cold by the middle of October. The fabric is dense and the lining is smooth so it traps a bit of warmth without feeling stuffy. Walked to the station and back in it on a frosty morning in nothing else and was perfectly fine, which says a lot for the cloth.

Good suit, I like the look of it a great deal. One thing nobody mentions about corduroy trousers is the noise. Walk quickly and the legs brush together and make a swishing sound. In a quiet room it is noticeable. You get used to it.
