Tighter than planned
Ordered a medium and it is tighter than I figured, though it loosens up a little after wearing. A large would have been more relaxed. Still like the look, the red is deep and the ribs are clean.
Gym to dinner
Did arms day then wore it to dinner without changing, the stretch handles both. Vertical ribs hide sweat better than a flat tee. I am not a fashion guy, my wife picked the color, and I have to admit she was right. Goes well with dark jeans. I have been wearing it at least twice a week since it came and the ribs have not lost any of their shape.
Red that isn't loud
The red is deeper than I expected, more brick than fire engine, so it does not scream. Ribs give it some depth. I have worn it to a barbecue and to a casual dinner and both worked. Fit is tight on the arms in a good way, my shoulders look bigger than they are.
Better than I figured
My grandson set this up on my phone, I just said pick something for church lunches. It fits slimmer than what I normally wear but the stretch makes it comfortable. My wife says the color looks good on me. Nothing to fuss about.
Quick review
Good shirt. Fits snug, red looks great, neck sits right. Washed twice with no issues. Got it for a concert and three people asked about it at the venue. Will order black next. Honestly did not expect a plain ribbed tee to get that kind of reaction from people.
Cousins asked about it
Wore it to a family gathering and my cousins kept asking where I got it. Simple shirt, no logos, just the ribs and that dark red. Fits the way I like, close without being a second skin. Washing is easy.
Pops with leather
Threw it under my brown reeves leather jacket and the red pops without competing with it. The neck is high enough to peek out nicely. Short sleeves mean no bunching at the elbows when the jacket goes on, which is my usual complaint with layers. Machine washed cold, still the same color. I will probably wear it that way all through fall when the weather cools off.
Not see through at all
Skeptical because I have been burned by cheap ribbed shirts that go see through. This one is opaque even in the red, nothing shows in direct sunlight, and the thickness feels right. Fit is trim. I would call it true to size for an athletic build.
Fast and nice shirt
Ordered Monday, here by Thursday, so three days with free shipping. Shirt fits true to size and the ribbing is even all the way around. Only thing I would add is a second one in another color.
Fine but not special
Bought for my son. He said it is okay but the arms and chest are very tight on him,
No complaints yet
At my age I look for comfort first. This is soft, stretchy and does not cling in a weird way around the midsection. Muscle fit sounds scary but the ribs are forgiving. Neck is neat.
Shade brighter online
Got it for my husband. He loves the stretch and says the neck is comfortable. I thought the red was a shade brighter in the pictures, but he does not mind. Washed cold and it came out fine.
Neck is the best part
The thing I noticed first is the neckline. It stands up on its own and does not sag after a full day, which is where most cheap mock necks fail for me. The ribs run vertically and the stretch is even, so nothing twists around the waist. Paired it with a black overshirt and boots and it looked like a full outfit. I went with a large and could have gone medium.
Third wash, still good
Over six two and I was nervous about length. A large covers my belt even when I reach up. I have washed it three times cold and dried it on low twice and the ribs have not flattened or twisted. The short sleeves end clean with no flare. For thirty dollars it is hard to complain about anything.
Friend was right
My friend kept saying get the ribbed one. Fine, I did. He was right. Fits snug on my chest and arms, the neck stays up, and the red is darker in person than online. Now he wants to borrow it.
Fits my build finally
I am on the shorter side so most muscle fit stuff swallows me or rides way past my hips. This one stops at a good spot. Ordered a small and it is snug in a good way. The ribs make me look a bit taller, which I will take.
Birthday gift worked
Got this for my boyfriend's birthday. It arrived in a plain mailer with no damage, which I appreciated. He tried it on right away and said the fit is exactly what he wanted, close on the torso and loose enough at the collar to breathe.
Cheap but not flimsy
For under thirty I figured it would feel thin. It does not. The knit has some weight, the red is even, and free shipping sealed it. Had it about a month now and it still looks like day one. The ribs are still crisp, the neck has not stretched, and I have not babied it at all.
Solid basic
Does what a good basic should. Stretches, holds shape, looks better than a plain tee because of the ribs. Red is a nice deep shade. I use it under an overshirt and by itself on warmer days. Would buy again.
Neck sits tight
Shirt itself is nice, ribs look good and the red is rich. Problem for me is the neck, it sits tight against my throat after a few hours and I keep tugging at it. I have a thicker neck so that may be me. Probably will wear it only for short outings.
