The medium fits great with room for layers underneath. I love that you can zip off the attached hood if you want to wear a real hoodie under it. Maybe it's a short girl/poor circulation thing but I feel so much more comfy and secure if I can pull my sleeves way down to cover my hands if they don't have them. No need for this jacket.
