Lining makes a difference
The inside lining is a big plus for me. I have a few unlined jackets that catch on my sleeves, but this one goes on smoothly over a regular shirt.
Something different for my closet
I've been looking for a black jacket that isn't leather or denim, and this filled that gap. The faux suede feels pleasant and the panel stitching gives it some character. I like wearing it buttoned with a plain crewneck underneath, especially when heading out for an early dinner. The weight is comfortable for those days when the weather changes between morning and afternoon.
Keep a lint brush nearby
The fabric has a nice matte appearance, although it does pick up a bit of lint from my lighter shirts. A quick brush takes care of it. Still happy with how it looks.
Separate pockets help
I'm glad the side pockets are separate from the chest ones. I use the lower pockets for my hands and leave the flap pockets alone most of the time. Much more practical that way.
Reminds me of an old favorite
The chest flaps remind me of an old jacket my dad used to wear, except this one has a much softer finish. I really like that familiar trucker style. The black color keeps the pocket details from standing out too much, and the polyester lining makes it easy to put on over flannel. It's become my choice for quick weekend outings when I want something other than a hoodie.
Good with lighter shirts
The fit is pretty good through my shoulders, although I'd personally like an extra inch around the middle for heavier sweaters. With a regular shirt underneath, it feels comfortable and looks neat.
The easy choice
I like clothes that don't require special planning. This jacket works with my black boots, faded jeans, and even the old white sneakers I wear everywhere. The faux suede gives it a nicer texture than a basic cotton jacket.
Exactly what I wanted
My favorite thing is the simplicity. A regular collar, front buttons, and enough pockets for everyday stuff. I don't need much more from a casual jacket, honestly.
Looks good open
I've been wearing it mostly unbuttoned over plain tees. The fabric has enough structure that it doesn't hang awkwardly, and the black color works with almost everything I own.
Nice change from hoodies
I wore this to a casual dinner with my brother and he thought I'd spent much more on it. The shirt collar is a nice change from the hooded jackets I normally wear. I also like that the front pockets don't stick out too much. After a few hours sitting, walking, and driving, I still felt comfortable. The jacket doesn't need much adjusting once it's on.
Best for mild days
This is a lightweight jacket, so I'd save it for mild weather rather than freezing temperatures. The lining is comfortable and the cut works well with jeans. Just don't expect a heavy winter piece.
Good texture
A lot of black jackets have a similar look, but the surface texture makes this one different. It's not flashy at all, which is exactly why I like it.
Comfortable with layers
The faux suede has a smooth feel without being slippery. I like how the jacket holds its shape while still being easy to move around in. The button cuffs feel comfortable over a watch, and the collar stays flat instead of curling up. I've worn it over both a thin hoodie and a regular T-shirt, and neither combination felt awkward.
Thoughtful phone pocket
What I appreciate most is the phone pocket inside. I don't always carry a bag, so having a place to separate my phone from my keys is genuinely useful. The outer pockets are handy too.
Roomy at the wrists
The sleeves are a little roomier than I expected near the wrist, even with the cuffs buttoned. Not a major issue, though I would have preferred them slightly narrower.
Good evening layer
I needed something for evenings when a sweatshirt didn't feel quite right. This has been a good option with dark pants and boots. The shirt collar sits naturally, and I can leave the top button open without the front looking messy. I also appreciate that it's fairly lightweight because I don't always want a heavy coat when going indoors and outdoors throughout the evening.
Nothing overdone
The buttons have a nice straightforward look. No extra buckles or unnecessary decoration, just a black jacket that feels comfortable and is easy to wear on ordinary days.
Good panel details
I'm not usually interested in jackets with a lot of stitching, but the panel work here is pretty subtle. It gives the front some shape, and the matte surface doesn't show off every little crease. The inside is lined too, which I appreciate when wearing it over cotton shirts. I've found myself picking this one instead of my usual overshirt.
Works with my sweaters
Wore this with gray jeans and a cream sweater. The black faux suede gives the outfit a nice bit of contrast without looking too formal. I'm happy with how it comes together.
Nice jacket, prefer zippers
The jacket looks good and the material feels pleasant. I just wish the front had a zipper instead of buttons for quicker fastening. Otherwise, the shirt collar and pockets are exactly the style I wanted.
