He kept this one
My husband is impossible to buy clothes for and has returned two jackets this year already. This one he has kept and wears every week. He says the dark brown goes with far more than he expected and that the leather softened within a few days of him wearing it.
Better made of the two
Second leather piece I have bought and this is the better made of the two. Neat stitching and the buttons feel like proper hardware.
Pockets that actually work
The three outer pockets are more useful than I expected on something this smart. Two flaps at the waist take a wallet and keys, the chest welt takes a phone, and nothing prints through or spoils the clean line of the front at all when it is buttoned up.
Richer in person
Bought this for my husband's fiftieth after he spent months wanting a leather blazer over another suit jacket. He was thrilled. The dark brown is far richer than pictured, the lambskin is incredibly soft, and the fit was so spot on it needed zero alterations before wearing out.
Changed how I dress
I have owned a few leather jackets but never a blazer, and this has changed how I dress for anything semi formal. It sits properly at the shoulders, the two button front keeps a clean line, and it never feels heavy over a full evening.
Husband liked it
Got this for my husband's birthday and he loves it, although the sleeves needed shortening. The dark brown leather looks great on him in the outfit he wore..
Better than a suit jacket
Wore this to a wedding as an alternative to a suit jacket and it worked perfectly. Smart enough for the occasion with both buttons done up, and comfortable enough to keep on all evening. The dark brown drew more comments than any suit in the room.
Fit first time
Ordered a medium off the size guide and it fit through the shoulders first time. No alterations, no fuss, and the lining sits smooth over a dress shirt.
A year of hinting, sorted
Ordered this for my husband for our anniversary after he had spent a year saying he wanted a leather blazer rather than another jacket. He was genuinely delighted with it. He tells me the fit needed nothing changed and the lambskin is the softest he has ever owned.
Runs close in the chest
Overall an excellent blazer and one I would order again. The dark brown is genuinely lovely and the tailoring is a cut above what I expected at the price. My only criticism is the sizing through the chest, which runs a little close, so anyone planning to wear a jumper underneath should think about going up a size.
More pockets than expected
Three pockets on a blazer is more than I expected. Two flaps and a chest welt means everything has somewhere to go.
Mobile pocket is tight
Really good blazer overall and it looks excellent on. The one thing I would mention is that the inside mobile pocket is a tight fit with a case on my phone, so I use the chest welt instead. The leather and the tailoring are both very good.
Smartest thing he owns
Bought this for my husband and it is the smartest thing he owns. He says the leather is softer than he had expected at this price.
Smart without a suit
Bought this expecting to wear it occasionally and it has become the thing I reach for whenever I need to look smart without a suit. The lambskin has weight to it without being heavy, the buttons close cleanly every time, and after three months of regular wear there is no sign of the seams or the lining giving way anywhere.
Reads as a blazer
Wears as a blazer rather than a leather jacket, which is exactly what I wanted. Over a shirt for dinner, over a jumper at the weekend too.
Better than the black
The colour is what sold me over the black one. Dark brown is far more interesting to me under normal lighting and it goes with grey, navy and denim just as easily. The leather has softened noticeably in the few weeks since it first arrived.
Chest pocket is shallow
Good blazer, though the chest pocket is shallow for anything bigger than a card. The dark brown colour and the notch lapel are both excellent.
Years of looking, finally
I have wanted a dark brown leather blazer for years and everything I found was either black or cut like a coat. This one is properly tailored through the waist and the colour is exactly right, rich rather than muddy. The notch lapel and two button front make it read as a blazer rather than a leather jacket pretending to be one.
Two shades in one
Dark brown reads as almost black indoors and a rich brown in daylight. Notch lapel sits flat and the two buttons close cleanly.
Tailored, not costume
A leather blazer can very easily look like a costume and this one really does not. The cut is properly tailored through the body, the notch lapel lies flat, and the dark brown reads as expensive rather than novelty when I wear it out anywhere.
