Great for garage projects
I wear this in the garage on cooler weekends while working on different projects. It gives me plenty of freedom to move comfortably, and the rib-knit cuffs keep sawdust from sneaking up my sleeves. Tough build that holds up well.
Husband's birthday gift, big hit
Got this for my husband's birthday since he mentioned wanting a black bomber with a hood. He wears it constantly now and says the fit through the shoulders is right. The removable hood is a feature he didn't expect to use much, especially on windy days walking the dog.
Great tailgate jacket
Wore this to a tailgate before the game and it was the right weight for standing around outside for hours. The hood came in handy once the sun went down.
Great for cool morning rounds
Golf early most weekends and needed something lightweight enough to swing in comfortably, and this delivers that. The removable hood means I can wear it without the bulk once the sun warms up mid-round, and the rib-knit cuffs stayed snug through my swing without feeling restrictive. The pockets held tees and a scorecard without adding weight, and it packed easily into my golf bag between holes.
Great for the sideline
Coach my son's soccer practice a few evenings a week and this keeps me warm standing around. The zippered pockets hold my phone and whistle fine.
Great for an airport layover
Wore this through a long layover and it kept me comfortable whether walking terminals or sitting for hours at the gate. Packs down small enough for a carry-on, and the internal mobile pocket kept my phone secure through security without ever digging into my side.
Perfect for the first cold snap
Grabbed this the moment temperatures dropped and it was the right weight. Not too heavy, not too thin. The hood came in handy on a windy morning.
Good travel jacket, runs snug
Packed this for a business trip since it folds down small easily. Fit a touch tight through the shoulders so I'd size up next time. Otherwise held up well through two flights.
Held up through a full delivery route
I drive deliveries most of the day and needed something that handles in-and-out-of-the-car weather without overheating me. This jacket breathes well enough for that, and the five exterior pockets hold my scanner, keys, and phone without ever feeling cluttered or heavy on one side.
Good for move-in day, minor issue
Wore this constantly during my move-in week running errands between the dorm and the car, and it handled the back-and-forth without feeling too warm indoors. The drawstring waist kept it from flapping open while carrying boxes, and the pockets held my keys and phone the entire time. The only issue was one zipper pull felt loose after a week of heavy use, but it still functions fine and hasn't gotten worse.
Faux suede skeptic, now a believer
Was skeptical about faux suede holding up over time, but this changed my mind after a few months of regular wear. The texture still looks rich, the zipper glides smoothly, and the rib-knit cuffs haven't stretched out or loosened at all despite wearing it almost daily.
Handled yard work fine
Raked leaves in this all afternoon and it moved with me without feeling restrictive. Faux suede shrugged off dirt easily, and the cuffs stayed snug the whole task.
Perfect around the bonfire
This turned out to be the right weight for a backyard bonfire with friends, standing around a fire pit on a cool night without overheating. The faux suede didn't pick up much smoke smell compared to some fabrics, which was a nice surprise the next morning. The hood came in handy once everyone started heading home and the temperature dropped further, and the pockets held my phone and a lighter the entire night.
Boyfriend loves this jacket
Surprised my boyfriend with this since he mentioned wanting a black bomber with a removable hood. He says the fit through the shoulders is spot on and he's already worn it constantly for work commutes and weekend errands. The drawstring waist was a detail he didn't expect to like as much as he does.
Good for rides, one sizing note
Wear this under my helmet on shorter motorcycle rides since the hood zips off completely and doesn't bunch up underneath. Keeps the wind off well at lower speeds. I ordered my usual size but found it a touch tight across the shoulders, so I'd suggest sizing up if you're broader built.
Replaced my old hoodie, mostly
I used to just throw on a hoodie for quick errands, but this has basically replaced it. Warmer, looks more put together, and the pockets actually hold my keys and wallet securely. Only issue is the sleeves ran slightly long, so I roll the cuffs back instead of hemming them.
Hood detaches for driving comfort
Drive for work most of the day and the removable hood was a genuinely smart addition here. Zips off in seconds so it doesn't bunch up against the headrest. Comfortable the whole shift.
Perfect for late-night dog walks
Take my dog out most nights before bed and this has become my go-to jacket. Warm enough for the cold without needing gloves, and the hood is genuinely useful once the wind picks up. The pockets hold poop bags and my phone without any issue at all.
Good for early mornings
Wear this on fishing trips before sunrise and it blocks the chill off from the lake water. The drawstrings keep the waist snug, and the pockets hold tackle and my phone.
Handled well
Used this jacket for shoveling snow after an early winter storm and it held up better than expected for something this lightweight. The rib-knit cuffs kept snow from getting up my sleeves, and the removable hood was useful once the wind picked up partway through. Faux suede shook off the wet snow without soaking through, and I kept working outside for over an hour without feeling truly cold.
