Chest pockets lay flat
I bought it for days between the seasons. The chest pockets sit flat instead of making the front bulky. I feel good about buying it.
All buttoned up
My usual outfit is plain, and this was a nice way to change things up. I prefer one interesting texture over a pile of accessories. I like that the jacket feels casual even when everything is buttoned. The fabric needs a gentle brush after being folded in my bag. Overall, I'm glad I decided to try it.
Collar stays neat
I needed to get out the door quickly and threw this over my usual clothes. The collar keeps a neat shape even when the top buttons are undone. It was nice not standing there changing shirts to make it work. I hadn't owned a green jacket before, so it was a fun change.
Lower pockets
I wanted something that wouldn't feel out of place at a casual get together. The lower side pockets are more useful than I expected. I liked it even more after seeing it in daylight.
Panel stitching
I wasn't looking for something too formal. The stitching across the panels adds a little structure to the front. I really enjoy that little detail.
Stitching at the back
I picked this one mostly because I wanted a different fabric in my wardrobe. The seam lines give the back a bit more interest. Even my oldest jeans looked a little different with it.
Good with my jeans
I saw myself in a photo outside and noticed the jacket looked different in daylight. Sometimes the mirror at home doesn't tell the whole story. The hem falls in a way that suits my regular straight-leg jeans. The olive finish has a soft look in natural light. The color works with the gray sweatshirts I wear all the time.
Easy sleeve movement
I threw it on before heading out for coffee. The sleeves let me move around without feeling like cardboard. I'm glad the color worked out.
A place for my phone
The part I keep looking at isn't even the main feature. The dedicated phone pocket inside is handy when my hands are full. For me, There's less room for a thick sweater than I had pictured.
The matte surface
I went for a walk wearing it yesterday afternoon. The matte surface is what keeps me reaching for it. I'm pretty pleased with the choice.
Understated buttons
Changed out of work clothes but kept the jacket for dinner. I appreciate pieces that don't feel tied to one part of the day. The dark buttons keep the front looking simple. I hadn't owned a green jacket before, so it was a fun change. The color works with the gray sweatshirts I wear all the time.
Smooth lining
Wore it on a random weekday when I wasn't planning to dress up. The polyester lining slides over my long sleeves easily. It was nice having a different option in my closet.
Straightforward cuffs
I wore it around town for a while. The buttoned cuffs are straightforward and don't catch on my watch. Not a big deal, but appreciated.
Useful inside storage
The collar was the first thing I checked when I looked in the mirror. The extra inside storage is nice when I leave home without a backpack. The shape works well without making things too formal.
Better than a high neck
I tried wearing it open for a change. The shirt-like collar works better for me than a high neck. This one feels right for me.
Old-school chest pockets
I reached for it on my way to brunch. The chest flap pockets remind me of older work jackets. There's a lot to like here.
No catching on flannel
I grabbed it before taking the dog out. The soft lining means it doesn't catch on flannel shirts. I'm already planning to wear it again.
Matte with denim
I tried this with black pants first. The fabric has a matte finish that looks good with faded denim. Nothing complicated, which I really appreciate.
The shirt collar
I tried it with a completely different pair of pants the next morning. I'm always glad when one purchase makes several older things useful again. The shirt collar makes it easy to wear open over a regular tee. I need to brush off lint more often than I do with denim.
Two types of pockets
I wore it yesterday with a plain white shirt. The two different outer pocket styles are genuinely useful. The whole thing felt easy to wear.
