What I wanted for school pickup
Most days I'm in leggings and an old sweatshirt doing school pickup. Throwing this on makes the outfit feel a little more put together without changing anything else. My favorite part is not having to think about whether it matches.
Not too dressy for everyday
I'm usually not a bomber jacket person, but this one isn't overly puffy. The ribbed hem helps it sit where I want it, and the hood keeps things casual. I wasn't looking for anything flashy, and this checks that box.
Good for an outdoor concert
I wore it to an evening outdoor concert and appreciated the hood when the breeze picked up. The jacket wasn't too heavy to keep on once we went inside. We stayed until the last song, and I never felt like I needed to carry an extra layer. The next morning I wore it again for breakfast outside.
Took this on a weekend trip
I packed one jacket for a short weekend away and this did the job. It looked nice at a café and was relaxed enough for a long drive back. I also didn't spend the whole ride pulling at the hem, which happens with my shorter jackets. I liked not having to pack a second outfit for the evening.
A keeper for casual Fridays
Our office is pretty relaxed on Fridays, and this fits right in with dark jeans and ankle boots. I like that it doesn't have flashy details competing with everything else.
A jacket for in-between weather
On days when it's too cool for just a shirt but not cold enough for a coat, I keep grabbing this. The lining slides over my sleeves without bunching up.
The kind I leave by the door
There's a hook near my front door and this has basically claimed it. I've worn it for grocery runs, taking the dog out, and meeting friends for coffee. I've even started wearing it on neighborhood walks when I used to grab a zip-up fleece instead. That's usually a pretty good sign that I actually like something.
My only gripe is layering
The jacket itself feels soft and comfortable. With a thick sweater, though, the arms become a little tight on me. Over a regular long-sleeve tee, it fits just right.
A little closer through the waist
I like how this jacket looks zipped up, but it sits closer around my waist than my old bomber did. If you prefer extra room, check the measurements.
An easy choice for early mornings
I put together my outfits before coffee, and this darker brown makes that much easier. It works with my faded jeans and doesn't look out of place with office pants. I like that I can grab it half asleep and still feel ready to leave the house. The collar also stays comfortable when I zip it all the way.
The shade looks great with black
I almost bought another black jacket, but I'm glad I picked this dark brown instead. It works with the black boots I already own and feels a little less predictable. The color has a little warmth without turning reddish in sunlight.
A different kind of bomber
The fitted waist gives this more shape than my oversized bombers. I still have room for a thin knit underneath, although I wouldn't plan on a heavy hoodie. That closer cut is actually why I picked this particular style.
The fabric is nicer in person
I was expecting a flatter fabric, but the faux suede has a little texture when the light catches it. It makes the dark color look less plain than I expected. The material has a nice matte finish instead of a shiny appearance.
The hood changes the whole thing
At first I thought I'd always keep the hood attached. Turns out I prefer it without one for dinner, then snap it back on for casual weekends. It gives me two different ways to wear the same piece.
Finally, a brown I can wear
Some brown jackets lean orange on me, but this one is closer to chocolate. I like the depth of the color, especially against cream sweaters and dark denim. Even my usual gray scarf looks good next to this shade.
Nice without the hood too
Removing the hood gives this jacket a completely different feel. I especially like the collar that way, although I keep the hood handy for days with unpredictable weather.
A small issue with the cuffs
I like the shape and the comfortable waistband. The cuffs feel snug when I wear a thick watch, though, so I've been choosing a slimmer one with it. It's not a deal breaker, just something I noticed after a few wears.
Surprisingly good with a skirt
This wasn't the jacket I planned to wear with a long skirt, but I tried it on a whim and liked the result. The darker color kept the outfit grounded.
A practical gift idea
I picked this style because my sister likes jackets she can wear instead of a sweatshirt. The hood and roomy pockets made it seem like something she'd actually reach for.
Looks better than it did on my hanger
Hanging up, it looked like a fairly ordinary brown jacket. Once I put it on, the waistband and shoulders gave it a shape I really liked. That was a pleasant surprise.
