The zipper feels straightforward
I appreciate a jacket that doesn't need fiddling with before leaving the house. The zipper runs smoothly on mine and the ribbed cuffs help keep the sleeves in place.
A soft look without a lot of fuss
I like outfits in oatmeal and cream, and this tan shade fits right into that part of my closet. I don't have to build the whole outfit around the jacket. A couple of my older scarves work with it too.
Not as delicate as it looks
The color made me nervous about wearing it often, but I decided not to baby it. The faux suede has held its shape through regular errands so far. I was expecting to save it for special plans, honestly.
Good for a spring road trip
I kept this within reach during a spring road trip because temperatures changed at every stop. It's light enough to carry and comfortable enough for a few hours in the car. The color also looked good in all the travel photos, which is a small bonus I hadn't thought about. By the third stop I was happy I'd brought this one.
Worked for my Sunday plans
I wore this from brunch to an afternoon farmers market without thinking about changing. The jacket was comfortable to walk around in and didn't feel too heavy indoors. We sat outside for most of our coffee, and it was exactly the layer I needed that day. And the next morning I reached for it again before leaving.
Made a plain outfit more interesting
I wore a charcoal T-shirt and old black jeans, nothing special. Putting this on added just enough contrast that I didn't feel like changing before meeting my friend.
A little more cropped than expected
The hem ends higher on me than I imagined from the pictures. I actually like it with high-waisted jeans, but it's worth checking the listed length first. That wasn't obvious to me until I tried it on.
Nice with a simple white shirt
The color really stands out against a white shirt without being loud. I wore that combination to lunch and liked it enough that I've repeated it twice. Sometimes the simplest outfits are the ones I wear most.
Very wearable shade of tan
I worried it might clash with my brown boots, but the shades are different enough to look intentional. Now I wear them together with cream trousers fairly often.
I prefer it with the hood off
The hood is handy, but I like the simpler look when it's removed. It also makes the jacket easier to wear with a scarf instead of having everything piled around my neck. It's nice having that option without changing jackets completely.
Easy to throw on after yoga
I don't usually bother with much of an outfit after yoga class. This gives my plain leggings a bit of color, and I can put my keys away without juggling them. The pockets are easier to use than the ones in my old sweatshirt.
My favorite part is the contrast
The gray hood against the light brown body is what caught my eye. It's a casual combination and saves me from trying to match a separate sweatshirt underneath. I wouldn't have thought of pairing these colors myself, actually.
A touch snug over a sweater
Over a thin top the fit looks just right. I tried wearing a chunky sweater under it and felt crowded in the shoulders, so I'll save that combination for another coat.
Good overall, sizing took thought
I compared the size chart with a jacket I already own before ordering. I'm glad I did, because the shoulders sit neatly and I wouldn't have wanted it any tighter.
Wish the pockets were deeper
I like the shade, the softer feel, and how the jacket sits at the waist. I just wish the outside pockets were a touch deeper for my larger phone.
A good option for mild evenings
This is the jacket I want when evenings turn a little cool but a proper winter coat would be excessive. I like having the hood available when the wind starts up. The neutral shade also means I don't have to switch bags or shoes just to make an outfit work. That's one less thing for me to think about after work.
It's become my weekend jacket
Saturday errands, grabbing pastries, quick visits to friends... that's mostly when I wear this. The light brown makes those thrown-together outfits look like I gave them some thought.
The waistband sits nicely
Some bombers balloon around my middle. This one sits closer without feeling restrictive, although the hem can ride up a bit when I raise my arms. I noticed it most when I tried sitting down.
Nice jacket for travel days
Airport outfits are hard for me because I get hot walking and cold sitting. This was easy to unzip and take off, and the inside pocket kept my boarding pass handy. I could fold it across my bag when I didn't need it, instead of carrying a bulky coat. It stayed comfortable even after a long day of sitting.
The color looks warm in daylight
I was hoping for a tan rather than a yellowish beige, and that's what this looks like to me. It's a gentle color that pairs nicely with white sneakers. It also looks different depending on the time of day.
